Living the unexpected...

Only when you feel everything is going your way the life slams the reality on you “Nothing can be your way” Life is the most unexpected journey. No matter how much you plan  the path and destination, it always takes you on its own highway which is full of surprises & shocks and the destination is always unknown.

Do we like it??? Not always… Can you do something about it???  May be you can take better decisions or stop planning ;-). But I know it doesn’t work like that too,  Life just seems to have decided to go the other way ALWAYS.

Anyways , We like it or not but I am sure this happens with all of us every now & then and we want a weapon to fight it back. I have got one! Try if it works for you…

Always remember “ Life isn’t perfect and you cannot have perfect problems” and just do what you believe in with a smile!  Perfect and planned life doesn’t guarantee happiness but life lived with a smile and the passion to strive for better can make your life worthwhile.  I know it is easy to say but hard to follow. But tell me this – Can you guarantee a great career after scoring 98% in High School?, Can you guarantee happy marriage  if you have the perfect GF/BF in this world?, Can you guarantee a peaceful life if you have handsome husband / beautiful wife?, Can you guarantee a sound sleep if you are the richest?, Can you guarantee a happy old age if you have got well educated kids?...No , No and No! Then why all the stress to make things perfect??? There is no guarantee of anything in Life but it is always worth to risk it.

Give risk a chance to enter into your life and you might be surprised with the peace it brings in you when things go right & wrong ;-). Life is not about accepting what you get but  it is a continuous struggle to be better with what you get!

Nothing Like Family...

Second day of my blog and I am thinking what makes me smile. The first thing that comes to my mind is "FAMILY". Nothing in this world can make me happier than thinking about my family and being with them. I am blessed with THE best parents in the world and an awesome Brother who is out of this world :-) .

Our Life has been full of ups and downs, but I am proud of my Father's never giving up spirit, my Mom's courageous support and my brother's passion for life. They have always been my strength and sometimes my weakness too ;-) . As they very well know that I cannot disobey Papa, I cannot hide anything from mom and cannot say "NO" to bhaiya.

We all live our busy life or so called by me "our Problems". But while doing so , are we missing out on cherishing our family and being with them when they really need us? Do we really realise their importance in our lives?

The most important thing I have learnt from my family is spending quality time" and standing by each other NO MATTER WHAT! I still have the sweet memories of us spending hours talking about everything in this world and sometimes not talking but still being around each other. Not sure about anybody, but even today my day isn't complete without papa calling me 3 times till I reach home, mom asking if I had food and talking to bhaiya.

Good and bad times keep coming and going but Family always stays! Their love is unconditinal and it would never end no matter how much you change. Cherish them and you'll be happier than ever before. :-)

Appreciate Life...

Life is a race! "Cliche"??? But true...

We all are running behind something or the other everyday. Today, we have it all that we once dreamt in our past but we still crib for what we don't have. As a child we only see beautiful dreams and wish they come true when we grow up. But when we grow up we only see problem and problems in everything around. I am no different and have issues with everything possible in this world - why this, why that, why not what I want, this is not what I want and so on... And I know lot of people who think same ;-). I just wonder at times are we really living life or just living our problems???

Think about this, you are holding up a glass with some water in it. What would happen if you hold it up for a few minutes?
'Nothing' …..

Ok, what would happen if you hold it up for an hour?
Your arm would begin to ache
And, what would happen if you hold it for a day?
Your arm could go numb; you might have severe muscle stress & paralysis & have to go to hospital for sure!... :-). But during all this, the weight of the glass didn't change, then what could cause the arm ache & the muscle stress???

Confused? Ok tell me, what should be done to come out of pain?
.
.
.
.
.
"Put the glass down, buddy!"

Life's problems are something like this.
Hold it for a few minutes in your head & they seem OK.

Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache.
Hold it even longer & they begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything.

It's important to think of the challenges or problems in your life,
But even more important is to 'PUT THEM DOWN' at the end of every day before you go to sleep...

I want to share with you everything that brings a smile to me so follow me to smile and appreciate life...
